Silly question:

Where do i find the PSW codes for a disabled wait. Tried IPLing a second
level VM in an LPAR . . . unsuccessfully.

A disabled wait is typically the numeric part of an HCP message. Take
the wait code, append it to HCP and look it up in the CP Messages manual.

Unless, of course, the original request was about booting a second level
system, in which case, HELP HCP####W ought to work on the first level.

Which, of course, might be an earlier level of CP than is being IPL'ed
second-level. ("I'm a 64-bit mode only OS." "Microcode isn't at the
correct level. What, you thought Chuckie was kidding about adding that
test to CP?")

So, check your TERM CONMODE setting; it needs to be 3270 and/or you
might want a "LOADPARM ccuu" on your IPL statement.

Apologies if that's already well known (but, yes, I checked the LOADPARM
syntax before I pressed 'send.').
