It looks like you might need to use field ASCDEFSZ in the ASCBK. (It is
a double-word).
This is pointed to by field VMDASCBK in the VMDBK.
I haven't checked this out, but it appears in 64-bit mode this is what you
need to do.....

In z/VM 440 there is a field VMDSSIZE (at 4A8) in the VMDBK that indicates
virtual storage size.
I do not find this field in z/VM 520.

Does it or its equivalent exist in 520. What is it called.

I think if this is working in 4.4.0 it must be running in 32-bit mode, is
that true??
