Hi listers,
I know, it is not the right list here for my problem, but I have put my
question also on the flex-es list and got no answer up to now. Probably
because there are less members on the list. I hope, that here is perhaps
someone who can help me with my problem.
I have got into trouble with the network adapters of my t-server. After I
have tested something with the configuration, - and obviously done something
wrong - my network adapters (on the mainboard and a dual port pci card) were
not usable anymore. I have then deleted all the adapters and wanted to
reconfigure them with the scoadmin - Hardware - Networking - networking
Configuration Manager - Hardware - Add new LAN adapter. I selected first the
"Ethernet Intel PRO/100+(eeE)-PCI-Slot 0 Bus 1 Device 7 Function 0" and
pressed Continue, then OK. I got an error message which did not completely
fit on the window, but I could read the idbuild command, which was executed.
For the error message I entered the idbuild command on a command window
again.
/etc/conf/bin/idbuild -M eeE -M net0
I got the following messages
UX:idbuild: INFO: The following loadable modules will be configured now:
\n\t eeE net0\n
UX:idmkunix: ERROR: Unknown tunable parameter 'NET0SAPMAXSAPS'
UX:idmkunix: ERROR: Unknown tunable parameter 'NET1SAPMAXSAPS'
UX:idmkunix: ERROR: Unknown tunable parameter 'NET2SAPMAXSAPS'
UX:idmkunix: ERROR: Errors encountered. Configuration terminated.
I did the same with the PRO/100+(eeE8) adapter choice but I got the same
message. Also the choices for the PCI-Card adapter ports failed. So I have
currently no network connection.
Can anybody help me, to get my network adapters working again.
Thanks in advance
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / best regards
