USERPROD NAMES question

Hello. I'm trying to figure out how to accomplish a VMLINK function using
USERPROD NAMES
I want to be able to VMLINK to a minidisk with read/write functionallity.
I would normally type: VMLINK userabc 191 <* a-z> (write
and everything works. When I try to do this in the USERPROD NAMES file,
in the following format:

:nick.user191 :title.USERABC 191 disk accessed
:product.userabc 191 <* a-z> (write

I type: VMLINK USER191
The link is made but it will not link as R/W just R/O
I've tried a number of different combinations with the entry in USERPROD
NAMES with no succes.
What is the secret to making this work or can it be done?

Thanks,
Steve G.
